Job summary

Allied Resources Technical Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of large-scale commercial development projects across the United States and Canada.

The ideal candidate will manage complex ground-up and renovation projects, lead teams, and ensure delivery on time and within budget while maintaining top quality. Strong knowledge of preconstruction, procurement, and contract administration is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction-related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years of commercial construction project management experience required.
  • Experience with large ground-up and major renovation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and procurement plans.
  • Lead project teams while promoting collaboration, accountability, and safety.
  • Conduct constructability reviews, value engineering exercises, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and project buyout.
  • Monitor project costs and proactively identify opportunities to mitigate budget or schedule risks.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure projects meet established standards.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress with leadership and field teams.
  • Mentor junior project engineers and project managers while supporting team development.
  • Ensure all documentation, contracts, change orders, and project records are properly maintained.

Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of large-scale commercial development projects across the United States and Canada. This is an opportunity to join a nationally recognized organization with an in-house construction team responsible for delivering complex, high-end facilities from the ground up through completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing commercial construction projects, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to successfully deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Strong understanding of preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience with AIA contracts, GMP delivery, and value engineering.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling software and project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
