SUMMARY
The Project Manager is the single point of accountability for all projects, owning the full lifecycle from contract to completion including schedule, budget, quality, subcontractors, and client experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Oversight
- Oversee 100% of active projects from contract to completion
- Ensure all jobs are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Maintain full visibility across all project statuses
Schedule & Production Control
- Build and manage master construction schedule
- Identify delays before they occur and take corrective action
- Coordinate subs, materials, inspections, and sequencing
- Drive cycle time reduction across all builds
Financial Performance
- Track budget vs actual costs across all jobs
- Protect and improve gross margins
- Approve and control change orders and cost overruns
- Work with accounting on job costing accuracy
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage superintendents and field teams
- Run weekly production meetings
- Hold team accountable to deadlines, quality, and communication
Subcontractor Management
- Oversee subcontractor performance: quality, speed, reliability
- Ensure contract enforcement and insurance compliance
- Resolve issues and maintain strong relationships
Client Experience
- Ensure white-glove client experience
- Handle escalations and high-level communication
- Maintain proactive updates on timeline and changes
Quality Control
- Enforce company build standards
- Implement QA checklists and inspection processes
- Reduce callbacks and warranty issues
Project Execution & Coordination
- Direct full execution including schedule, budget, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Serve as primary liaison with client and GC
- Maintain real-time documentation and logs
- Lead weekly coordination meetings
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Ensure resolution and closeout of all items
- Verify permits, inspections, and compliance tracking
- Oversee shop drawings, equipment, and finish packages
