Job summary

Professional Placement Services is seeking a Project Manager in Stark County, OH. You will own projects from order to completion and warranty, coordinating engineering, production, vendors, and field service to meet milestones and delivery targets.

You’ll drive schedules, track progress, and ensure smooth communication with customers and internal teams. Strong organizational skills and experience with ERP systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Microsoft Project experience required
• Experience with ERP/project management systems
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation
• PMP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Own projects from order execution through completion and warranty
• Build and manage project schedules, milestones, and timelines
• Coordinate customers, engineering, production, vendors, shipping, and field service
• Review BOMs, engineering releases, drawings, POs, and product documentation
• Obtain and negotiate quotes for major equipment and materials
• Track progress and resolve design, material, and scheduling issues
• Coordinate shipping, startup, manuals, spare parts, and customer acceptance
• Manage warranty documentation and claims
• Present project updates and schedules to customers and internal teams

You know how to keep a project moving when there are a dozen moving pieces. Now put those skills to work in a role where you’ll actually own the process from order to completion.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on customer projects, coordinate engineering and production, manage schedules and milestones, work with vendors, and make sure everything comes together — including startup, customer acceptance, and warranty.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
