Job summary

LeoForce, a Columbus-area engineering firm, is seeking a Project Manager specializing in transportation and site development to lead complex roadway projects from kickoff to completion.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and other professionals, ensure compliance with ODOT regulations and local/state laws, and deliver detailed plans using AutoCAD and Civil3D while managing budgets, schedules, and resources to meet quality goals.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in transportation and roadway design and construction management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and PE license in Ohio.
  • Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and regulatory compliance (ODOT and laws).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire construction project from start to finish, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to plan and schedule.
  • Oversee transportation and roadway design, site development, grading, drainage and utilities.
  • Ensure all projects comply with ODOT regulations and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Produce detailed project plans and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to analyze water flow and mitigate flooding and erosion.
  • Coordinate with licensed landscape architects on site development and green infrastructure.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources; communicate progress to stakeholders.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager in the Construction industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Transportation, Roadway design, and Site development. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire construction project from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with a team of architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to develop and implement project plans and schedules.
  • Oversee the design and construction of transportation and roadway projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with ODOT regulations and guidelines, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other software to produce detailed project plans and drawings.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to analyze water flow and drainage patterns, and develop solutions to mitigate potential flooding and erosion.
  • Work with licensed landscape architects to design and implement site development plans, including green infrastructure, stormwater management, and sustainable design features.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, and communicate progress and issues to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Ohio.
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation and roadway design, ODOT regulations and guidelines, and AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, such as HEC-RAS or SWMM.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
