Berkel & Company Contractors, Inc. in Louisville, KY seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee deep foundation and earth retention projects across the Midwest, including Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and neighboring states.

Responsibilities include estimating, design, and project management, ensuring compliance with codes and company standards, coordinating between crews and general contractor, and delivering monthly status reports and change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience with deep foundations and earth retention systems preferred.
• Ability to estimate, design and manage project execution.

Responsabilités

• Estimate, design, and manage installation of deep foundation systems.
• Assist in engineering project proposals and submittals.
• Budget monitoring and trend tracking.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate technical and management aspects of projects.
• Monitor jobs for compliance with codes, engineering practices, and company standards.
• Ensure effective communication between crews and general contractor.
• Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve issues.
• Prepare monthly project status reports and change orders.
• Accountable for successful completion of projects.

Berkel & Company Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage projects specializing in deep foundations and earth retention systems, including:

Sheeting and Shoring:

• Soldier pile and lagging walls
• Sheet pile walls
• Shotcrete and soil nail walls
• Internally braced walls

Deep Foundations:

• Pressure grouting

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Estimating, design, and project management for the installation of deep foundation systems throughout the Midwest, specifically Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan and West Virginia.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals and submittals.
• Budget monitoring and trend tracking
• Planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of assigned projects
• Monitor jobs for compliance on applicable codes, engineering practices, and company standards
• Ensure effective communication and production on assigned projects between all crew members and the general contractor
• Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolving client, engineering, and project management issues
• Monthly project status reports and change orders
• Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.
