Addtronics Custom Automation (ACA) is seeking a Controls/Automation Engineer to design and verify controls systems for automation equipment. You will develop control architectures, review electrical packages, and ensure safety and standards adherence while meeting project milestones.
This full-time role requires 5+ years in controls/automation, PLC/HMI programming with Allen-Bradley, CAD design, and robotics experience.

This position involves designing controls systems for automation machines, ensuring they meet project requirements, customer expectations, and ACA standards. The candidate should communicate project requirements, develop controls architecture, verify electrical design packages, and create designs that adhere to safety and standards. They will interpret internal cost sheets and develop plans that meet cost estimates, accurately report project status, achieve project milestones, and determine the cost of scope changes. The role also requires reviewing and evaluating new control-related products, recommending project-specific training, and following ISO 9001 procedures.

This is a full-time, exempt salaried position. Depending on the needs of the business, the ability to work more than 40 hours/week and/or weekends may be required.
Travel is required to customer sites as deemed necessary dependent on the project scope.
