Artifintech in Lansing, MI seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead IT initiatives with budgets over $20M. You will coordinate executives, managers, and teams, ensuring alignment with Michigan methodologies and effective change management. The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration and vendor contract oversight.

Local to Lansing area is highly desired. Work will be Monday and Tuesday in office; Wednesday through Friday can be remote.

• Prepare information for presentations geared to executives, managers and project team members.
• Monitor, control, and communicate project progress by actively managing cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.
• Provide leadership and foster collaborative participation between technical and business teams by obtaining consensus and commitment.
• Manage interfaces related to other agencies and ensure alignment with state methodologies.
• Ensure the project adheres to the State of Michigan's methodologies and lifecycle stages.
• Facilitate and enforce Change Management (Change Requests) with approvals before action.
• Understand project benefits and impact of change requests on business cases and update artifacts.
• Review vendor contracts to manage deliverables and adoptions to the approval procedures.
• Facilitate stakeholder interactions by clarifying expectations and ensuring deliverables are assigned and completed.

• Prepare information for presentations geared to various audiences ranging from executives, managers and project team members.
• Accountable for monitoring, controlling, and communicating project progress by actively managing the cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.
• Responsible for providing leadership and fostering collaborative participation between the technical and business teams by obtaining consensus and gaining commitment.
• Responsible for managing and communication of interfaces related to other agencies.
• Responsible for ensuring the project adheres to the State of Michigan's methodologies, including appropriate and timely transitions through the stages and phases of the project lifecycle.
• Responsible for facilitating and enforcing the Change Management process (Change Requests) when the project deviates from the approved scope, schedule, or budget. This includes ensuring all Change Requests have appropriate approval before action is taken or information is updated.
• Responsible for understanding the project benefits and the impact of change requests to the benefits business cases. Responsible for ensuring related project artifacts are updated accordingly.
• Responsible for reviewing and understanding vendor contracts to actively manage the vendor deliverables and adherence to the vendor deliverable approval procedure.
• Facilitates interactions among stakeholders by clarifying the expectations of all participants and ensuring all deliverables are assigned, reviewed, and completed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• 8+ years of experience managing projects with budgets greater than $20 million.
• 8+ years of experience managing IT projects within a large, complex enterprise environment.
• 8+ years of experience managing vendors and/or third-party solution providers.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent projects and driving work to successful completion with minimal supervision.
• Experience handling variety of stakeholders and system/ business owners from other departments.
• Experience managing multi-vendor environment in a government environment.
• Experience providing project management services for IT Projects involving Commercial Off the Shelf Technology (COTS).
• Oversee technical teams with system architecture and integration across SaaS solutions.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant project management certification.
• Experience using project portfolio management systems and tools (eg. Clarity).
• Previous experience working within state government, the Department of Corrections, or other public sector agencies.
• Local to Lansing, Michigan area (within 1 hour) is highly desired. Work will be Monday and Tuesday in office; Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday can be remote (non- negotiable).
