Job summary

TYG Midwest invites a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join its Investigative team in Kentucky. A PE with 5+ years of experience will steer forensic investigations, condition assessments, and rehab projects across multiple facility types, coordinating budgets, schedules, and client communications.

You’ll mentor staff, prepare reports, and support new business opportunities, with occasional travel and potential expert witness assignments.

Qualifications

  • Active PE license required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Background in structural design, forensic investigation, building assessment, or restoration.
  • Experience with repair and rehabilitation projects preferred.
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and project management skills.
  • AutoCAD/Revit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead forensic investigations, condition assessments, and repair and rehabilitation projects.
  • Investigate structural damage, deterioration, failures, and building problems from foundations through roofing.
  • Develop structural and building enclosure repair solutions for existing facilities.
  • Prepare technical reports, repair documents, drawings, and proposals.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, billing, and client communication.
  • Mentor junior staff and review technical deliverables.
  • Work directly with clients and support new project opportunities.
  • Participate in expert witness assignments and provide testimony where required.
  • Conduct frequent local site visits with occasional regional travel.

Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – Forensic Engineering
$120,000–$160,000 | Dependent on Experience

We’re partnering with a well-established engineering consultancy looking for a Project Manager to join its Investigative team in Kentucky.

This is an opportunity for a PE with 5+ years of experience to manage forensic investigations, condition assessments, and structural and building enclosure repair projects across commercial, residential, industrial, utility, and municipal facilities.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead forensic investigations, condition assessments, and repair and rehabilitation projects.

What We’re Looking For
