Job summary

A construction management company seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on multi-family, commercial, and K–12 construction sites. The candidate must have strong project management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with Procore project management system. Responsibilities include supervising project teams, managing customer relations, and ensuring compliance with policies. The position offers a competitive compensation package, and is based in Kentucky.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Manager in multi-family housing, commercial, and/or K–12 construction.
  • Ability to effectively present information to groups, including management.
  • Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical documents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of construction sites.

Job Responsibilities

Manages the day-to-day operations of Ruscilli Construction’s construction sites while adhering to management policies and procedures.

Essential Duties

Experience

Experience as a Project Manager in one or more of the following markets: multi-family housing, commercial, and/or K–12 construction.

Customer Relations

Performs as customer sponsor as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises project team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Computer Software Skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, at an intermediate skill level. Must be/become proficient in all aspects of Procore project management system.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
