Job summary

Averro is seeking an onsite Project Manager to own the Epicor ERP implementation and manage other projects supporting customer deliverables and internal systems. This hands-on role offers visibility to leadership and collaboration with Epicor's implementation team and manufacturing staff.

You'll work directly with leadership to drive data migration, configuration, testing, training, and cutover readiness while coordinating multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, IT, MIS, or related field.
• 3–10 years PM experience, incl. 2+ in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP, sales order management, production scheduling, inventory control, procurement.

Job description

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract, 12+ months with potential to convert

PAY RANGE: $60-75 an hour W2, DOE, plus benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Holiday Pay, PTO, 401K, depending on which benefits package is selected)

Our client is a fast-growing engineering and manufacturing company who is replacing its legacy system with Epicor ERP. They need an onsite Project Manager to own the company's side of that implementation and to manage other projects that support customer deliverables and internal systems. This is a hands-on role with real visibility. You'll work directly with leadership, Epicor's implementation team, and the people who build and ship the product.

How your time breaks down

• ~40% Epicor ERP implementation: Own the plan from kickoff through go-live and stabilization. You'll be the day-to-day contact for Epicor, hold both sides to their commitments, and drive readiness for data migration, configuration, testing, training, and cutover.
• ~40% Other projects: Manage a small number of software and engineering projects tied to customer deliverables and internal systems, using Monday.com.
• ~20% Process development: As the company continues to grow, you'll help document, define, and refine manufacturing processes.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain the project plan and schedule in Monday, with status visible to all stakeholders
• Coordinate subject matter experts across Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Assembly, Quality, Finance, and Shipping
• Plan workload so the implementation moves forward without overloading the team or disrupting active customer work
• Manage change requests and scope questions with Epicor, and elevate cost and schedule impacts
• Lead data cleanup, validation, and user acceptance testing with process owners
• Support training, communications, and adoption for users moving off the legacy system
• Track risks, issues, and budget, and report regularly to leadership and the steering group

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, MIS, operations planning, or a related field
• 3-10 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP, sales order management, production scheduling, inventory control, and procurement (a supply chain background is a strong plus)
• Advanced MS Project, Excel, and Word skills
• Monday.com experience, or the aptitude to pick it up quickly
• Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication and a positive, team-oriented approach to solving problems

Nice to have

• ERP implementation or migration experience, especially Epicor
• PMP certification or equivalent training
• Technology or software project backgrounds are welcome
