Job summary

CRB Group in Kansas City seeks a Project Manager to direct consulting, design or construction management on large, complex projects and to build strong client relationships that lead to future work.

You will lead diverse teams, including subcontractors, and ensure successful delivery from early planning through execution, applying a broad understanding of engineering and construction disciplines. A relevant degree and 7+ years PM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum of seven years of successful Project Management experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented individual capable of leading and managing large teams including subcontractors.

Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the direction and performance of consulting, design or construction management services for assigned project(s) of a nature greater in scope, valuation and complexity and with larger teamsthan those generally managed by the Project Manager. Responsible for client relationship management, including creating a positive experience that will lead to future work. Projects often include several subcontracts and may include several aspects of an integrated ONEsolution delivery methodology.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the direction and performance of consulting, design or construction management services for assigned project(s) of a nature greater in scope, valuation and complexity and with larger teams than those generally managed by the Project Manager
• Client relationship management, including creating a positive experience that will lead to future work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent
• Minimum of seven years of successful Project Management experience

Additional Qualifications

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Team-oriented individual capable of leading and managing large teams including subcontractors
• Demonstrated success in acting as a Project Manager
• Intermediate understanding of all core engineering disciplines, project execution, delivery in a design and construction.
• Minimum 8 hours of leadership/supervisory training annually
