Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Project Manager to direct in-house crews and subcontractors, while coordinating with customers and management. You will bid, bill, and monitor project progress to ensure on-budget and on-schedule delivery.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and hands-on leadership across multiple projects with strong communication and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

  • Safety training and OSHA knowledge required.
  • Ability to read blueprints accurately.
  • Experience with project bidding and billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Direct in-house crews and subcontractors to ensure on-budget delivery.

  • Lead weekly client and project team meetings.
  • Dispatch crews and direct task execution on site.
  • Bid and bill each project upon completion.
  • Approve timesheets and daily logs.
  • Ensure crews have the correct equipment.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for directing in-house crews and subcontractors. Also, they work directly with customers and are involved in bidding and billing projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.


In addition, you will:



  • Manage and lead internal and external project teams to ensure on-budget and on-schedule delivery

  • Report and communicate to the external customer(s) and internal management each day

  • Build processes and teams required to deliver all project requirements

  • Coordinate with the Project Construction Lead for timing, execution, and closeout of individual projects

  • Lead weekly meetings with the client and project team

  • Send crews to projects and direct them on the overall tasks needed to be completed

  • Bid and bill each project once complete

  • Approve timesheets and daily logs

  • Ensure the crew has the correct equipment needed for the project

  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned


Qualifications

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent

  • You have 3 years of construction project experience

  • You have advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Intermediate experience in schedule management

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks

  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills

  • You have precise hand-eye coordination

  • Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships

  • Able to identify and distinguish colors

  • Able to read blueprints accurately

  • Able to communicate progress, highlight issues, and provide recommendations to senior leadership

  • Possess safety training and knowledge of OSHA requirements


Compensation of $95,000-$120,000 annually, depending on the experience.
