Job summary

Allegiance Group is seeking a Project Manager to join its Jacksonville team, overseeing luxury hospitality, high-rise and commercial construction projects from preconstruction to turnover. You will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors and client relations to deliver complex, high-value projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of GC PM experience, familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and strong leadership and communication skills for collaboration

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects with a General Contractor.
• Strong understanding of all phases of project delivery and contract documents.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client relationships.
• Knowledge of contracts, project controls, procurement and change management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, procurement plans and execution strategies.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, vendors and project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Review drawings, scopes of work and contracts to identify risks and opportunities.
• Oversee costs, change orders, pay apps, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Lead meetings and maintain stakeholder communications with owners and engineers.
• Drive quality, safety, schedule adherence and issue resolution.
• Support subcontractor buyout, negotiations and turnover activities.

Project Manager – Luxury Hospitality, High-Rise & Commercial

I'm partnered with a leading international General Contractor that's continuing to expand its presence across North Florida. With a strong pipeline of luxury hospitality, high-rise residential, mixed-use, healthcare, commercial and infrastructure projects, they're looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Jacksonville team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects. You'll take ownership of major construction projects from preconstruction and planning through completion, working closely with clients, subcontractors, consultants and internal teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget.

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day management of large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans and overall project execution strategies.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, vendors and project stakeholders throughout the construction process.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities.
• Oversee project costs, change orders, pay applications, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers and trade partners.
• Drive quality control, safety, schedule adherence and overall project performance.
• Identify and resolve construction issues, RFIs, submittals and design coordination challenges.
• Support subcontractor procurement, buyout and contract negotiations.
• Lead project closeout, commissioning and turnover activities.

They're looking for someone with:

• 6+ years' experience managing construction projects with a General Contractor.
• A strong understanding of all phases of commercial construction and project delivery.
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project controls, procurement and change management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing projects valued from tens of millions to several hundred million dollars.
• Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software, including Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar platforms.
