Job summary

GH Engage is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead heavy industrial projects in Indianapolis, overseeing manufacturing facilities, processing plants, and large-scale expansions. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within Heavy Industrial construction.
• Experience with manufacturing, processing, or large-scale plants.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, cost control and contract administration.
• Knowledge of industrial construction processes and project coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Ability to support projects throughout the Indianapolis market.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to lead Heavy Industrial construction projects in Indianapolis. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee complex industrial builds including manufacturing facilities, processing plants, food & beverage facilities, and large-scale industrial expansions for a growing contractor delivering technically challenging projects across the region.

The Role

As Construction Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, financial performance, and successful delivery of Heavy Industrial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will work closely with field leadership, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of project delivery including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and financial reporting
• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
• Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying and resolving risks proactively
• Manage subcontractor performance, contracts, and change orders
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures
• Review project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and reports
• Build strong client relationships through effective communication and successful delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within Heavy Industrial construction
• Experience managing manufacturing, processing, industrial infrastructure, or large-scale plant projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration
• Solid understanding of industrial construction processes and project coordination
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Ability to support projects throughout the Indianapolis market as required
