Job description

Building Concrete Solutions (BCS) is searching for a Project Manager. BCS provides site concrete, foundations, tilt-wall, and elevated concrete services. We handle concrete material, placement, and finishing for a range of flexible project delivery models. Our focus is on safety, quality, and productivity.

Job Summary: A project manager’s role is to effectively lead the successful completion of the project on time and within budget. The project manager shall work with the balance of the project team to effectively deliver the project to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Complete understanding of the Contract Documents
2. Document Management
3. Create and maintain all project logs (Procurement, Submittal, Change Proposals, etc.)
4. Develop and maintain the project schedule utilizing P6 software platform
5. Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget
6. Efficiently conduct all project meetings in a professional manner including development and distribution of minutes
7. Project Close Out
8. Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure project remains on schedule
9. Provide technical assistance (interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, etc.) as needed
10. Lead the project’s quality process and principles
11. Take an active role in preconstruction efforts
12. Maintain positive relationships with our partners and clients
13. Sense of urgency and drive to be the best

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

1. 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, preferably within our core market projects
2. Bachelor’s degree required (Construction Management related field preferred)
3. Proficient in the use of technology including project management software
4. Completion of OSHA 30
