Job summary

Selectek, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead RMV installation projects, automation and controls implementations, and natural gas pipeline modifications from engineering through construction and commissioning.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage risk, schedules, and budgets, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and report progress to stakeholders. Experience with outages, gas evacuation, venting or recompression is desirable in a fast-paced midstream

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil).
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in midstream pipeline/facilities construction.
• Experience with RMV installations and control implementation knowledge.
• Construction experience with retrofitting valves, actuators, and power delivery to sites.
• Strong communication skills and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMV installation projects from planning through closeout, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup.
• Oversee valve actuators, instrumentation, SCADA integration, and control system upgrades.
• Coordinate power delivery, utility coordination, and electrical infrastructure for remote valve sites.
• Manage safety, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and cost control across multiple projects.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and executive-level project reporting.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate pipeline infrastructure projects focused on Rupture Mitigation Valve (RMV) installations, automation and controls implementation, natural gas pipeline modifications, and related capital improvement initiatives. This individual will oversee the full project lifecycle from engineering and planning through construction, commissioning, and closeout. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pipeline construction, valve retrofits, automation and control systems, power distribution, and natural gas transmission or distribution projects. Experience managing projects that require pipeline outages, gas evacuation, venting, or recompression activities is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple RMV installation projects involving the retrofit of existing pipeline valves and installation of new motor-operated or automated valves.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Oversee installation of valve actuators, instrumentation, communication systems, SCADA integration, and control system upgrades.
• Manage contractors responsible for civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls work.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
• Coordinate power delivery requirements including utility coordination, service installations, temporary power, and electrical infrastructure associated with remote valve sites.
• Ensure compliance with applicable pipeline safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Support automation initiatives related to remote monitoring, remote operation, and emergency shutdown capabilities.
• Manage field construction activities including site preparation, excavation, pipeline modifications, and tie-ins.
• Oversee natural gas pipeline replacement projects involving Class Location upgrades, integrity-related replacements, and system modernization efforts.
• Coordinate gas handling activities including: Pipeline isolation Product evacuation Controlled venting operations Gas recompression activities Purging and commissioning procedures
• Facilitate communication between engineering teams, operations, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
• Conduct project status meetings and provide executive-level reporting on project progress, risks, budget, and schedule performance.
• Manage project risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all work is executed safely and in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil)
• 5 Plus years of Project Management experience for pipeline and facilities construction midstream projects for Integrity Digs
• Experience with RMV Installations Control implementation knowledge
• Construction experience with retrofitting valves, installing actuators, scopes associated with power deliver to job sites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
