Job summary

Employee Magnets is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for an in-office role in Dallas, TX. The position oversees technical support, and oversight of commercial, operational, regulatory and maintenance activities across gas processing plants, pipelines, and dehydration systems.

You will manage project engineering and management duties including sizing, scoping, procurement, contracting, AFEs, and cost estimation while coordinating ROW activities and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or civil engineering.
  • Industry experience in midstream oil & gas is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contractors and company staff to safely, timely and cost-effective install and commission facilities.
  • Performs all aspects of project engineering and project management including equipment sizing, scoping, procurement, contracting and bidding work, contract evaluation (construction and commercial) basic economic evaluation, cost estimating and generation of AFEs.
  • Uses strong knowledge of pipeline design and related gas patch equipment operations and maintenance as well as measurement, cathodic protection, compression design, system planning and gas pipeline hydraulics.
  • Uses knowledge from pipeline simulation experience and working knowledge of Pipeline Integrity Regulations and FERC 192 and 195 Minimum Pipeline Safety Rules for pipeline construction, operations, and maintenance.
  • Coordinate the ROW acquisition needed for construction including but not limited to planning routes, agent progress, payment approvals, overseeing major ROW issues, coordinating survey operations, and controlling costs relative to budgets.
  • Participate in partnership safety program and initiatives.
  • Maintain and adhere to required training, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives.
  • Communicate with partnership control centers, business groups, and other operating groups, as necessary.
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Must maintain valid driver's license in state of residency.
  • Work assigned shift and be available for overtime if needed.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required and other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all internal, state, and federal regulations.
  • Comply with company policies.
  • Maintain honest, respectful, and effective internal and external working relationships.
  • Complete all training as directed by management.

Job Description
