Job summary

ISC Hawaii is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead projects in Honolulu. You will plan, coordinate across teams, manage budgets, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a minimum of five years of construction PM experience and strong proficiency with Procore, Sage, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6. On-site work in Hawaii with client-focused communication is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning – Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
  • Team Coordination – Collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate regular progress meetings.
  • Budget Management – Monitor budgets and prepare financial reports to keep projects within limits.
  • Resource Allocation – Oversee labor, materials, and equipment for efficient execution.
  • Risk Management – Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect timelines.
  • Contract Management – Review and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Be the main contact for stakeholders with status updates.
  • Quality Assurance – Ensure deliverables meet industry standards and client expectations.
  • Documentation – Maintain plans, reports, and meeting minutes for transparency.
  • Compliance – Ensure activities comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Post-Construction Review – Finalize documentation and handover to client.
  • Continuous Improvement – Evaluate outcomes to improve future projects.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Stakeholder Communication – Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Quality Assurance – Ensure that project deliverables meet the established industry standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
  • Documentation – Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes, to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Compliance – Ensure all activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Post-Construction Review – Conduct a final review of the project, addressing any deficiencies, finalizing documentation, and facilitating project handover to client.
  • Continuous Improvement – Evaluate project outcomes and processes to identify opportunities for improvement in future projects.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a construction Project Manager or related field
