Job summary

Kavaliro seeks an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead a large-scale capital equipment installation within an active manufacturing environment. You will manage the project lifecycle from planning through installation, commissioning, and operational acceptance.

The engagement is 9 to 12 months with potential for future opportunities. Travel is periodic with increased onsite presence during installation, startup, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing capital equipment implementation projects.
• Experience installing equipment in operating manufacturing or processing facilities.
• Proven success delivering projects within fixed production, shutdown, or seasonal implementation windows.
• Experience managing equipment suppliers and external vendors through delivery and acceptance.
• Knowledge of equipment commissioning and performance validation processes.
• Experience managing capital project budgets exceeding $1 million.
• Strong project planning, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale capital equipment installation project within an operational manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle from planning and equipment procurement through installation, commissioning, and operational acceptance. This is a contract engagement anticipated to last approximately 9 to 12 months with the potential for future project opportunities based on performance. Pay: $52 -$57/hr

Work Arrangement

Primarily remote with periodic travel required based on project milestones. Increased onsite presence expected during installation, startup, and commissioning phases.
