Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager with experience in the scaffolding and insulation industries. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of industry expertise and have a proven track record of driving business growth as well as managing the full project lifecycle—from client acquisition and bidding through execution, completion, and final payment collection.This role requires a deep understanding of both industrial and commercial sectors (with a primary focus on industrial projects), paired with strong fiscal management skills, safety leadership, and client relationship skills. This position offers unlimited geographic scope for customer acquisition across the United States.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentCustomer Acquisition: Proactively seek and identify new business opportunities in both industrial and commercial sectors across nationwide territories (no geographic restrictions).Deal Closure & Negotiation: Lead all aspects of the sales process, from prospecting and client engagement to negotiating contracts and closing deals.Project Bidding & Proposals: Prepare and submit accurate project bids and proposals, ensuring competitive pricing, profit margins, and clear scopes of work.Full Project Lifecycle ManagementProject Planning & Initiation: Develop detailed project plans, including scopes of work, resource allocation, project timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.Project Execution & Leadership: Oversee projects from inception to completion. Lead cross-functional teams and subcontractors to ensure work is executed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications.Project Close-Out & Billing: Manage final deliverables, close-out documentation, post-project evaluations, and the collection of final payments to ensure total customer satisfaction.Profit and Loss ManagementBudget Oversight: Monitor and control project budgets, track expenses, and manage overall P&L performance to meet financial profitability targets.Client & Stakeholder RelationsAccount Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, building long-term relationships that encourage repeat business.Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal operations, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.Safety, Compliance & PresenceQuality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all job sites strictly comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards (OSHA/MSHA).Office & Field Presence: Split time between active client acquisition, on-site project management, and maintaining an office presence to support internal operations and team planning.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and project management, with a heavy emphasis on industrial projects.End-to-End Ownership: Proven history of acquiring new accounts, estimating/bidding, and taking projects through execution to final invoice collection.Financial Acumen: Direct experience managing project budgets, tracking P&L, and maintaining project margins.Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, specifically proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).Leadership & Communication: Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Mobility: Ability to work independently with flexibility for travel and field oversight as needed.Benefits & CompensationBase Salary + Commission Competitive Base Salary + Commission based on company profitability & performance.Insurance Options: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance options.Financial Future: 401(k) Retirement Plan.Equipment & Allowances: Vehicle allowance, cell phone allowance, and company laptop provided.
