Job summary

PingWind, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager at Fort Belvoir, VA to oversee complex projects from initiation to completion. You will plan, coordinate resources, manage risk, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Required: TS/SCI clearance and a PMP certification, plus a Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Computer Science and at least 8 years of PM experience. A Master’s Degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
• PMP certification required.
• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of assigned projects; act as single contact for those projects.
• Take projects from concept through final implementation.
• Interface with end users, IT services, and client services to coordinate project activities.
• Define project scope and objectives.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports.
• Conduct project meetings; track progress and performance.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables.
• Manage vendor tasks and review vendor outputs.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
• Monitor budgets and financial resources; optimize resource utilization.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes.

Primary Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks

• Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
• Takes projects from the original concept through final implementation.
• Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
• Defines project scope and objectives.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
• Monitor project budgets and financial resources.
• Optimize resource utilization and allocation.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes.

Salary Range

121K-145K
