Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Project Manager in Florence, SC to lead multi-location cross-functional teams from concept to production and field deployment. You will manage cost, schedule, quality, and requirements across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, with strong emphasis on communication and risk escalation.

The role operates within Otis-style stage-gate and agile development frameworks. Strong collaboration and independent work are required, along with proficiency in English and MS

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BS in engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Hands-on leadership from concept to deployment with cross-functional, global teams.
• Experience with managing competing priorities, distributed teams, stakeholders, and complex system trades.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Project, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with Daptiv or similar PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering to ensure prototype and production drawings readiness.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to share drawings and engage engineers on technical discussions.
• Ensure prototype parts delivery according to plan and track with suppliers and factory.
• Coordinate prototype installation with Engineering and sub-systems owners.
• Ensure production drawings stay on schedule and track changes from tests.
• Manage stakeholders, schedule, scope, cost, risk, interdependencies, and resources.
• Support project reviews, gate reviews, and executive communications.
• Plan, track, and communicate goals, schedule, costs, and milestones.
• Facilitate team meetings and provide leadership focusing on deliverables and timelines.
• Support PM team to improve processes and tools.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Florence, SC that is seeking a Project Manager who will support multi-location, cross-functional teams to deliver new products and designs from concept through production and field deployment. The PM will manage cost, schedule, quality, and requirements working with sales & marketing, supply chain, technical teams, manufacturing, and field operations. The PM will support individuals to understand and communicate the complexities of development activities, risk management, and timely escalations throughout the project development. This role will operate within the Otis structured stage-gate and agile product development frameworks. Role Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with Engineering teams and sub-systems owners to ensure prototype and production drawings readiness
• Coordinating with Supply Chain to ensure drawings or marked up drawings are shared and engage right engineer with supplier for any technical discussion and issue resolution
• Ensure prototype parts delivery according to plan, tracking and following up with suppliers and factory
• Coordinate prototype installation with Engineering teams and sub-systems owners as well as turnbacks from installation and tests
• Ensure production drawings are on schedule and tracked as well as the changes needed based on turnbacks and tests
• In collaboration with Program Manager/Director, manage program stakeholders, schedule, scope, cost, risk, interdependencies, and resources
• Support project reviews, gate reviews and other team/executive communications
• Plan, track, and communicate project details such as goals, trades, schedule, cost, and milestones
• Facilitate team meetings, providing leadership and direction focusing on deliverables, goals, actions, and timelines
• Support initiatives within the program management team to increase efficiencies, processes, and tools

Requirements

• Associate degree required/BS in engineering preferred
• 3+ years of project management experience required
• Experience with hands-on project leadership from concept through deployment with multi-functional, global teams required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
