Job summary

STS Aerospace is seeking a Project Manager to plan, organize, and direct complex projects in the aerospace sector. You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage timelines, budgets and resources to ensure on‑time delivery and adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in PM, engineering, or business and 5–10 years of related experience; PMP/CAPM/PgMP certifications are helpful but not required.

Job Description

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of projects for an organization. This role involves leading cross‑functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined quality standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary.

Education and Experience
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in either project management, engineering, business administration, or a related business or management field is required for the Project Manager role and/or 5‑10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valuable experience for a candidate includes work in the field or industry the project is in as well as management experience. Although management experience in the Aerospace field is ideal, a combination of experience in the industry and management experience in another area may be acceptable.
  • Relevant certifications are helpful but not necessary – Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Program Management Professional (PgMP).
