Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned engineer to own and drive power product technologies from concept through commercialization in a production semiconductor environment. You will develop predictive models, manage product lifecycles, and ensure alignment with marketing and R&D to launch innovative power products.

The role requires 5+ years in process engineering or related fields, strong communication, and a proven project ownership mindset to navigate complex cross-functional teams and schedules.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry experience in process engineering, process integration, or product engineering in a production semiconductor wafer fabrication facility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to multi-task in a complex environment.
  • Experience using data analysis to inform technical decisions and defend paradigms.
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset and initiative to adjust to meet goals.
  • Ability to communicate with experts across Research, Engineering, Operations, Reliability, Marketing and Leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own, manage and drive new Power Product technologies through the gate process from concept to commercialization.
  • Develop models to predict power product device performance.
  • Own lifecycle of new power products including design, simulation, evaluation, and optimization.
  • Integrate next-generation technologies to enable new product releases.
  • Collaborate with R&D and marketing to align projects with business needs and to launch new technologies.
  • Troubleshoot NPIs not meeting performance or robustness requirements.
  • Document progress and report status to stakeholders, highlighting risks and schedule impacts.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Own, manage and drive new Power Product technologies through the Business Phase/Gate approval process, from Concept through Commercialization.
  • Develop and utilize models to accurately predict power product device performance
  • Own life cycle of new power products including performance simulation, design, parametric evaluation, performance analysis, troubleshooting, optimization of final product
  • Own integration of next-generation technologies to enable new product releases.
  • Work closely with RnD and marketing to ensure new technology projects align with marketing needs
  • Work closely with RnD and marketing to commercialize new technologies and launch first of a kind power products
  • Troubleshoot any issues with NPI product designs not meeting performance or robustness requirements
  • Document, summarize and report on project status to key stakeholders, communicating progress to schedule and highlighting schedule and project risks.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of industry experience in process engineering, process integration, or product engineering in a production semiconductor wafer fabrication facility.
  • Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to effectively multi-task in a complex environment, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced with using data analysis to drive and defend technical decision making
  • Demonstrated project ownership mindset and initiative to make necessary adjustments to achieve goals
  • Ability to communicate with experts across many different areas of the company including Research & Development, Engineering, operations, reliability, marketing, and leadership.
  • Strong problem-identifying, problem-solving and risk mitigation skills
  • Degree in engineering, physics, or closely related field
  • Candidate must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Technical understanding of semiconductor device physics, testing and functionality.
