Job summary

SJE Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of new product initiatives at their Detroit Lakes location. This role requires strong project management skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in Business or Engineering, along with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience. Competitive salary ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package.

We are looking for a Project Manager to support our SJE Rhombus brand. This role will work out of our Detroit Lakes or New Hope, MN location.

Detroit Lakes is the home office for SJE and is the leading manufacturer of our liquid level control products, including pump control panels, alarm systems, float switches, and level monitoring solutions. Our SJE Rhombus brand is a leading provider of liquid level control products and pump control solutions for the water, wastewater, and sewage industries across residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and agricultural sectors.

Responsibilities

As our Project Manager, your primary role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to the introduction of new products. You will develop the project network, create timelines, coordinate cross‑function‑al teams, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. You will be responsible for holding team members accountable to tasks and deadlines. You will conduct team meetings and build automated reporting mechanisms for leaders. You will also assist in writing technical documents.

Qualifications

A 4‑year degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent, and 3‑4 years of experience are required.

Benefits

• Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• Paid Time Off and holiday policy: Up to 120 hours of PTO in your first year plus 8 paid holidays.
• Starting salary: $70,000 – $85,000/year depending on experience and location.
