SJE Inc. in Detroit Lakes, MN is seeking a Customer Service Specialist I to be the central point of contact for our customers.

You will handle questions and complaints, update customer information in our database, and process orders accurately and efficiently. The role requires detail orientation, strong verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The job:

The Customer Service Specialist (CSS) provides an exceptional experience for our customers by listening to and understanding their needs to provide effective solutions in a timely manner. As the central point of contact with our customers, the CSS assists customers with questions and complaints, updates customer information in our database, and processes orders efficiently and accurately.

To succeed in this role, you must:

• Be extremely detail oriented
• Possess excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external customers
• Thrive in fast-paced environments and be able to multi-task
• Have strong organizational skills
• Have experience in customer service doing computer-based order entry and answering phones – in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Be willing to train on the production floor to learn our products

A high school diploma is required, and a 2-year degree is preferred. At least 1-2 years of computer-based order entry is required.
