Job summary

Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of custom steel building projects—from contract handoff through manufacturing, delivery, and closeout.

You will be the central point of contact for customers and external partners, coordinating schedules, design coordination, and issue resolution. The role requires 2+ years in project management or related fields, with the ability to read architectural and structural drawings, manage budgets, and communicate

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of project management, construction coordination, or manufacturing operations experience in a deadline-driven, multi-project environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, structural drawings, and construction specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical and organized with schedule building, budgeting, and scope documentation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full project lifecycle from contract handoff through design coordination, manufacturing, delivery, and closeout as the single accountable point of contact.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and execution plans, proactively identifying risks and driving corrective actions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, builders, architects, and external partners on drawings, schedules, delivery timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Analyze, document, price, and execute change orders to protect margin and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, drafting, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure on-time execution of deliverables.
  • Monitor project financial performance, flag budget variances, and escalate risks with recommended solutions.
