Job summary

Intelligence and National Security Alliance is seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to oversee projects from award to closeout, including planning, field execution, safety, scheduling, and financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on project-management experience, read coatings specs, manage crews and subcontractors, monitor costs, and ensure OSHA compliance across chemical plant and other industrial sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project-management experience in industrial or construction fields.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Willingness to travel to industrial sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage industrial projects from award through final completion and closeout.
• Review contracts, estimates, specifications, drawings, schedules, and project requirements.
• Develop execution plans, project schedules, staffing plans, and equipment and material requirements.
• Coordinate project mobilization, field operations, and demobilization.
• Monitor labor productivity, job costs, schedules, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project profitability.
• Prepare accurate project forecasts and cost-to-complete projections.
• Identify potential risks, cost overruns, and scheduling concerns, and implement corrective action.
• Manage change orders and ensure additional work is documented, approved, priced, and billed.
• Coordinate closely with superintendents, foremen, safety personnel, estimators, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Visit job sites regularly to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, customer requirements, and site-specific safety plans.
• Verify that surface preparation and coating application meet customer specifications, manufacturer requirements, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with customer representatives, inspectors, and quality-control personnel.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities for additional work, repeat business, and long-term customer growth.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project or job-cost management systems.
• Ability to travel to industrial job sites as required.
