As Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of data center projects. Working closely with engineers, contractors, and clients, you will coordinate and oversee various aspects of the construction process to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and adherence to budgetary constraints. A Project Manager is solely responsible for the culmination of a successful project.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage varying size projects from pre-contract,identifyingschedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans. This includes being accountable for every aspect of a project from engineering handoff toproject closeout.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across internal teams: Solution, Engineering, Sales, Pre-Constructionand Finance to ensure project is executed to contract requirements
- Supervise and lead project teams, including internal trade teams, subcontractors, vendors and external professional services, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Review andmaintainaccurateproject documentation, including, but not limited to, contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Prepare and manger project scope of work, submittals, post project deliverables, and supporting documentation/artifacts throughout project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, providingaccuratecost estimates/forecasts andmonitoringexpendituresand managing cost controlthroughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and update all project tracking and forecasting tomaintaina clear line of site to internal project stakeholders and supporting teams. To include, but not limited to, revenue forecasting, labor forecasting, POtrackingand Change Management.
- Create andmaintainproject schedules, setting deadlines and milestones to track progress and ensuretimelycompletion.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure that all work meets regulatory and safety standards and is completed to the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Identifypotential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets, including proper andtimelyescalation to leadership team
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns that arise while fostering positive client relationships through clear and effective communication directed at managing proper expectations.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and that the projectcomplies withlocal, state, and federal regulations.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, adapting plans as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Review project metrics and progress and notify stakeholders and leaders of any delay or risks associated with the projects.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and project milestones to manage expectations
- Perpetuate a “Safety First “mindset partnering with Safety Team to assure proper site safetymaintains100% compliance to contract, industry andAccelevationstandards and expectations.
- Travel tojobsite as needed, especially for the kick-off meeting as well as the closing meeting, which will require up to 50% travel.
- Ensures a project is completed safely, accurately meets industry and company standards and is profitable for the company and their clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum10years of experience in Construction.Previousexperience in General Contractor and/or Construction Managementfirmis preferred.
- Proficientin Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software such as Procore, ACC, Epicor, etc.
- The ability to create, update, and own a scope-delineated project schedule with preferable working knowledge of how toutilizeMicrosoft Projects or other similar project scheduling software.
- An understanding of the correlation between budget and progress within the context of a data center white space construction project.
- Must be proficient in reading blueprints and construction plans.
- Mustdemonstrateproven success working with all levels of management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Track and manage all change orders and warranty requests for projects.
- The ability to produce project timelines through a written scope of work.
- Willing to travel up to 50%. (variable frequency)

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Employees must be able to hear, speak, and communicate effectively. Work occurs in data center environments with potential exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and varying temperatures. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, may be required. Physical requirements include bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead. Must lift at least 50 lbs, raise arms above shoulder level, and perform overhead work for extended periods. The ability to climb and carry ladders (up to 12 ft), navigate stairways, and work at heights up to 90 ft using ladders, scaffolds, or lifts is essential. Employees must access restricted areas (e.g., switchgear rooms, vaults, tunnels, crawl spaces) and wear full PPE. Good vision and hearing (normal or corrected) and accurate color identification are required. Some projects may lack food facilities, so bringing meals and snacks is necessary.
