This position serves as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, and is accountable for clear communication and successful execution on every assigned project.

This is a hands-on role for a project manager who drives project performance, maintains quality standards, and wants to contribute directly to the company’s strategic objectives.

What You'll Do
PROJECT PLANNING & EXECUTION
  • Manage all phases of assigned projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address schedule or cost variances.
  • Review contract documents, specifications, drawings, and scope requirements.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including material and equipment purchases.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure timely project closeout documentation.
COST & COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Negotiate and administer subcontractor and vendor agreements.
  • Manage change orders, requests for information (RFIs), and project documentation.
  • Support project billing, collections, and overall financial performance.
CLIENT & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure project success.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work and business development.
SAFETY, QUALITY & RISK
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
  • Experience managing project budgets, cost forecasting, procurement, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of subcontract administration, contract negotiations, and change order management.
  • Familiarity with mission-critical systems, commissioning processes, and complex construction projects is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project) and construction management platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Why This Opportunity

Our client brings more than two decades of experience across heavy civil, building, and emergency response work. Civil capabilities include grading, drainage, subsurface utilities, pile driving, marine construction, and deep foundations. The building division operates at scale, delivering commercial, industrial, and government facilities alongside large residential construction programs spanning tens of thousands of homes across the U.S. and its territories. When disaster strikes, their emergency response teams mobilize and stay through recovery.

For a project manager who wants variety, scale, and direct visibility with executive leadership, this is an opportunity to deliver meaningful work with a contractor that is building the future.
