Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting represents a premier electrical contractor seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial electrical construction projects across Connecticut. You will guide projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensure financial health, schedules, and client satisfaction.

You will work with owners, GC partners, engineers, and internal teams to deliver complex projects in higher education, manufacturing, data centers, government, and life sciences sectors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects.
• Proven experience leading electrical projects valued at $5M+.
• Strong background working for an electrical contractor.
• Experience in Higher Education, Advanced Manufacturing, Data Centers, Government, or Life Sciences markets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful execution of large-scale electrical construction projects from award through completion.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Oversee project financial performance including cost control, billing, change orders, and profitability.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field leadership teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project schedule and budget.
• Coordinate preconstruction activities, project planning, and execution strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.

I'm partnered with a leading electrical contractor that is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial electrical construction projects throughout Connecticut.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical construction professional who has successfully managed complex projects and is looking to join a respected contractor with a strong backlog, challenging project portfolio, and long-term growth opportunities.

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will provide overall leadership for electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution, financial performance, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.

This individual will work closely with ownership, field leadership, clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal project teams to deliver high-quality electrical construction projects across a variety of commercial and institutional markets.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
