Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CM, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years’ experience as co-op and project engineer or equivalent.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with Procore, Viewpoint, and Phoenix scheduling is preferred.
• Experience on higher education projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand project plans, owner contracts, and MSAs.
• Assist with subcontractor prequalification, bidding, buyout, and scope development.
• Attend pre-bid walk-throughs and review meetings.
• Review bids for completeness and compliance.
• Prepare subcontractor scopes of work for bidding and buyout.
• Maintain project drawings, specs, directories, and information in Procore.
• Request and review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs.
• Create procurement logs and track permits.
• Manage project meeting agendas and minutes.
• Build and update project schedules in Phoenix.
• Implement Lean project standards, weekly work plans, look-ahead schedules, pull-planning.
• Manage project cost controls and report financial status.
• Understand and apply Viewpoint standards, including job startup and job cost setup.
• Manage all aspects of project closeout, including final closeout documentation to clients.
