Job Description
Under general direction, the Project Manager is responsible for managing several projects related to the construction development process to build assigned residential real-estate projects in the Columbus market in accordance with approved plans, budgets, and schedules outlined by our Construction Operations team.

Strong financial reporting and analytical skills. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict management skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and shifting demands. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to present written communication clearly. Proficiency with relevant software and project reporting systems. Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project. Ability to learn an internal construction software system.
This role will have no direct reports. However, the ability to achieve results by working with others within the organization is a critical success factor; these could include construction management staff, quality assurance inspectors, and sales team.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Relevant Experience is required. A minimum of five (5) years of residential construction experience is required. Aptitude to acquire general construction and legal knowledge with respect to commercial and residential development building codes, materials, product specifications and costs.

Work Environment: This position is based in the Columbus, OH area. The worker is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outdoor weather. Noise levels are usually loud. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places.
