The Opportunity
CACI is looking for a Senior Project Manager responsible for the successful planning, coordinating, and management of cost, schedule, and performance of all aspects of complex engineering projects and tasks related to Zero Trust. The Project Manager will serve as the technical point of contact for the Program Manager and directly contribute to program efforts in several areas including schedule, deliverable status updates, and risk identification and mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Program Manager with allocation of resources
- Direct and mentor project team members to provide effective and efficient technical deliverables and engineering plans
- Document system and process project improvements
- Provide analysis of operational objectives and draft plans to meet outcomes
- Review risk and risk mitigation activities and provide mitigation strategies and plans
- Develop Work Breakdown structures, Project Plans, and Project Schedules and Milestones
- Provide detailed tracking of project requirements
- Manage personnel management of technical project teams
- Project Ownership and Accountability: Demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities by independently driving tasks to completion, following through on tasking, proactively solving issues, and ensuring project outcomes are met
- Planning and Leadership: Effectively plan, prioritize, coordinate, and execute project activities while anticipating risks, tracking action items, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
- Leadership and Team Management: Effectively lead and coordinate the team by assigning work appropriately, providing clear direction, encouraging collaboration, and resolving routine personnel and performance issues at the appropriate level without unnecessary management intervention
- Communication and Reporting: Provide accurate, timely, and complete status reporting
- Mission Knowledge: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the mission, systems, terminology, and operational processes necessary to effectively lead the program and communicate credibly with the customer and team
Qualifications
Required:
- University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years related work experience
- 8 years of experience conducting technical requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting for technical projects and contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
- 6 years of additional program management experience of similar scope, type, and complexity with the Federal Government may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Defense Acquisition Workflow Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 3 certification in Program Management

$109,800 - $241,600
