The role requires 7+ years in financial services or consulting with expertise in trading workflows, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.

• Experience with PM tools and standard delivery methodologies.

• Plan, coordinate and oversee projects tied to operational workflows.
• Define project scope with stakeholders and build detailed work plans.
• Identify risks and issues early and propose solutions to stay on track.
• Provide regular status reporting on deliverables, timelines and risks.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation across workstreams.
• Create presentations for senior management with insights and recommendations.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed.

Company Overview:

A global alternative investment management firm with a significant asset management portfolio is seeking a Project Manager to join their Operations & Middle Office team. The role involves managing initiatives to drive efficient and well-controlled operational workflows.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the project pipeline between Operations & Middle Office and Technology, managing initiatives from initiation through implementation
• Plan, coordinate and oversee projects tied to operational workflows, including Private Credit, Loans and CLOs
• Partner with stakeholders across teams to define project scope and objectives, build detailed work plans and deliver key project artifacts
• Identify project risks and issues early, escape where appropriate and recommend effective solutions to keep delivery on track
• Provide regular reporting on project and program status, including major deliverables, timelines and risk factors
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation across active workstreams
• Create clear, effective presentations for senior management, translating raw data into meaningful insights and recommendations
• Support ad hoc projects and requests as needed

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of project management experience within a financial services or consulting environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• Knowledge of trading workflows, operations, technology and financial products
• Experience with project management tools and standard delivery methodologies
• Preferred subject matter expertise in Private Credit, Loans and/or Collateralized Loan Obligations

Compensation:

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000, Plus Bonus
