Tech Valley Talent (TVT) has a great long-term role as a Project Manager. This role is remote.

DURATION: 12 months with option to extend

LOCATION: Albany, NY is where the client is located, so preference is for EST and CST candidates – Remote.

NO third parties – direct consultant applicants only.

Multifamily is in need of a Project Manager to maintain a pipeline of applications, coordinate kick-off calls, and set up contracts in NEIS, providing support to the PMs for project management. Additionally, this resource will manage pilot projects planned for 2025 initiatives.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree, particularly in engineering, policy, public or business administration, architecture, real estate, urban planning, marketing, or related fields.
  2. 3-6 years of experience with a well-developed understanding of relevant technical principles and their application to a program area, including deployment issues, problems, and needs.
  3. 3-6 years of experience managing projects with minimal supervision, developing new projects, and securing co-funding sources.
  4. 3-6 years of demonstrated ability to implement projects timely, prioritize workload, and exhibit strategic thinking aligned with organizational goals.
  5. 3-6 years of experience leading working groups or program teams, providing guidance, and demonstrating leadership and motivational skills.
  6. 3-6 years of ability to produce clear, concise written and verbal presentations, negotiate effectively, and interface with contractors and outside contacts.
  7. Solid project management skills for energy efficiency projects involving multiple building systems.
  8. Knowledge of energy-consuming systems in multifamily buildings, including heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and building envelope.
  9. Knowledge of electrification measures for existing multifamily buildings, especially HVAC, hot water, appliances, and building envelope measures.
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with specific program tools like NEIS, SharePoint, JotForm, and Salesforce (a plus).

Responsibilities

  1. Support daily operations of multifamily programs.
  2. Assist with pipeline management, including inquiries, applications, scoping sessions, contract setup, and process improvements.
  3. Manage projects for pilot initiatives within the LCP program.
  4. Resolve project issues, manage databases, coordinate with QA/QC and technical review contractors, and ensure compliance.
  5. Perform other assigned duties as needed.
