Job summary

Onni Group in Chicago seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalize residential construction projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, define scopes, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Project/Development Manager.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Project Management or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, BlueBeam.
  • Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate a department with five or more employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret prints, drawings, and cost reports.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage projects from initiation to closure for residential work.
  • Define scope, goals and deliverables with stakeholders.
  • Review critical path, manage changes and issues, adjust schedules.
  • Prepare budgets and propose changes as needed.
  • Coordinate bid packages and contract awards.
  • Plan timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Develop progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Conduct design reviews for efficiencies and schedule improvements.
  • Oversee project team including coordinators, superintendents and engineers.
  • Coach and motivate team and contractors to ensure accountability.
