Job summary

High Country Industrial Corp in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction and manufacturing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope changes, and maintain documentation, while prioritizing client satisfaction and continuous improvement in safety and lean processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Manager in construction/manufacturing.
  • Ability to read blueprints and specs.
  • Experience managing project budgets and margins.
  • Knowledge of change management and Notices of Change (NOC).
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Lean practices exposure or implementation.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (production, materials, office).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project outcomes are completed to ISO 9001 standards while meeting stakeholder needs.
  • Maintain project chartering, invoicing, document control, profit margin, and materials management.
  • Monitor production schedule daily and participate in huddles to keep master schedule accurate.
  • Oversee material quantity, pricing, and accuracy for all orders with the team.
  • Maintain production to meet service schedules and customer commitments.
  • Improve work processes for safety, quality, and cycle time reduction.
  • Attend project meetings, job walks, and safety meetings as required.
  • Maintain project files and documentation per procedures.
  • Prioritize tasks and solve problems with minimal oversight.
  • Process signatures for invoicing and timely submission.

This role oversees the full life cycle from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. The project manager defines projectobjectives, coordinates resources, andmaintainsa strong focus on client satisfaction. Success in this role requires strong leadership, teamwork, decision making, and attention to detail to align all aspects of the project with company standards and client expectations.

Pay & Benefits:

High Country Industrial Corpoffers a starting competitive salary range of $75k - 115k depending on experience. Must Have’s:
  • Proven experience working as a Project Manager in the construction/ manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of reading blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other prints
  • Knowledge of project management software (Procore, Textura, Strumis or similar)
  • Basic math knowledge, problem solving
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Direct production experience with role function examples
  • Leanpractice or exposure of concepts
  • Experience managing project budgets, cost tracking, and margin awareness
  • Ability to manage scope changes and Notices of Change (NOC)
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (production, materials, office)
  • Strong documentation and reporting discipline
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-moving environment

The position will be responsible for the followingtohelp HCI operate smoothly.These responsibilities may change from time to time as required by changing business conditions, company management structure, or otherreasonsthat management deems appropriate.

  • Ensure project outcomes are completed to ISO 9001 standards while meeting internal and external stakeholder needs. Build andmaintainproject charter (customer, invoicing,doc control, profit margin, materials, capacity, prints, etc.) with coinciding ‘T-Sheets’ once approved PO is received while obtaining anyadditionalinformation, Notice of Change (NOC), or questions prior to meeting.
  • Monitor production schedule daily and attend all huddles/constraint operations meetings to understand schedule/materialsissuesso the master schedule andcomponentinventories areaccuratedaily.
  • Oversee process of confirming all quantity, pricing, and accuracy of materials for all orders shipped and received with Material Handler and Foreman on a documented consistent and frequent basis.
  • Perform workrequiredina timelyand safe manner.Maintain adequate production inorder to meet service schedules and customer commitments.
  • Maintain, communicate, and improve work process flows with team members to strive for safety improvements, zero quality issues, and cycle time reduction.
  • Complete all assigned training. In person or web based.
  • Maintainproject files and documentation according to internal procedures.
  • Attend project meetings, jobwalks,and safety meetings asrequired.
  • Demonstrate initiative and sound decision making by independently prioritizing tasks, solving problems proactively and followingthrough withminimal oversight.
  • Performing other duties and tasks assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
  • Assure that all signatures required for work performed are obtained in a timely manner and submitted to the office for invoicing.
