Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, Suffolk, Virginia, seeks a Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead one or more projects from bidding through turnover.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in electrical construction, managing $10M+ projects, with NEC/OSHA compliance, and strong client relations. Travel to sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $10M+ including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Proficient computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
• Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.
• Ability to travel.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients.
