Bradley Professional, a division of the Bradley Group, seeks an HVAC Project Manager for our Charlotte area operations. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of HVAC projects, bringing deep knowledge of mechanical systems, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering quality work on time and within budget.

The role involves negotiating contracts, managing multiple projects, and coordinating with owners, GCs, vendors, and field staff.

Qualifications

• HVAC project management experience.
• Knowledge of commercial mechanical systems.

• Ability to read construction documents and schematics.
• Proficient with Autodesk, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contract scope, buy-outs, and purchase order write-ups.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, vendors, and staff.
• Oversee organization, estimating, scheduling, implementation, and closeout of multiple projects.
• Manage contract finances including forecasting, manpower forecasting, job cost tracking, and monthly billings.
• Monitor installations to ensure compliance with standards and specs.
• Communicate job status and changes with customers and subcontractors clearly.

Our client is a Mechanical Contractor with over 100 continuous years of service throughout the Chicago and Charlotte area and recently across the United States. We provide HVAC and Plumbing services specializing in commercial, healthcare, and tenant buildout projects. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Project Manager to join our team out of Charlotte

The HVAC Project Manager oversees all aspects of HVAC projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of mechanical systems, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering quality work on time and within budget.

Job Description

• Performing negotiations of contract scope, buy-outs, and purchase order write-ups
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, vendors, suppliers, project managers, and field staff
• Oversee project organization, estimating, scheduling, implementation, and closeout of multiple projects
• Manage financial aspects of the contract, including, but not limited to, financial forecasting, manpower forecasting, job cost tracking, preparing monthly billings, etc.
• Monitor installations and ensure work is performed according to company standards and project specifications
• Communicates job status and changes with customers and subcontractors in a clear and professional manner

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of HVAC experience (project management
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of commercial mechanical systems
• Must have proven success managing multiple projects
• Knowledge of the construction process (RFI, RFP, change orders etc.)
• Knowledge of commercial building codes for mechanical systems
• Excellent computer skills including Autodesk, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Bluebeam
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Pay Scale

$90,000.00-$120,000.00 annualized salary. Actual salary to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
