Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Project Manager for industrial and mission-critical projects in the Charlotte, NC area. The role focuses on leading project teams, coordinating subcontractors, and managing owner relationships from preconstruction through commissioning.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, QA/QC, and design development while ensuring high standards of professionalism and communication across all stakeholders. Some travel and relocation support may be offered.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of project management experience in industrial or mission-critical settings.
• Proven leadership in coordinating project teams and subcontractors.
• Experience with bid procedures, scheduling, and cost/quality control.
• Knowledge of MEP systems in mission-critical environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with owners and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage project team members and subcontractors.
• Grow owner relationships and engage with project stakeholders.
• Involvement in preconstruction: bids, qualifications, estimating, scheduling.
• Manage QA/QC programs and commissioning processes.
• Lead progress meetings and oversee design development.

Expectations:

• Manages assigned project team members and subcontractors.
• Cultivate and grow project owner relationships and relationships with all professional groups involved.
• Engagement in the project preconstruction process including developing bid procedures, bid reviews, vendor & subcontractor qualifications, estimating, and scheduling.
• Management of Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program and required commissioning processes.
• Proved leadership in construction risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and budget decisions.
• Travel as needed for projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Lead Construction progress meetings.
• Oversee design development

• Process proven knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems.
• Have an established thorough understanding of early turnover dates and mission critical commissioning processes.
• Experience with critical work Methods of Procedures process.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of Microsoft Office Procore, P6, and other management tools.
• Communicate proactively and effectively, focus on customers, and display a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
• Project experience on light industrial distribution centers, food processing facilities, manufacturing, semiconductors, and/or data centers.
