Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Project Manager – Electrical to lead NEC-compliant electrical projects valued between $1M and $6M. You will manage schedules, budgets, and client relationships, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and AHJs while ensuring safety and profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of commercial electrical project experience, and readiness to travel regularly to sites across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial electrical projects.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling tools.
• Procore Certification, PMP, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized; able to travel regularly to construction sites across multiple states.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

• Manages electrical projects from planning through completion to ensure quality and profitability.
• Develops strong client relationships built on trust, reliability, and open communication.
• Identifies client needs and delivers NEC-compliant solutions that support current and future requirements.
• Oversees scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and daily field activities.
• Leads communication with clients, suppliers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment.
• Coordinates drawing development, load calculations, and submission of required documents to AHJs.
• Supports negotiation with clients and suppliers as needed.
• Ensures all work complies with Z-Modular Power safety and quality standards.
• Promotes ethical practices and consistent project performance.

This role requires collaboration with teams across departments and regions.
