Job summary

Zekelman Industries – Sharon Tube is seeking an Electrician to support plant operations through electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. The role involves repairing industrial control systems, maintaining equipment uptime, and working in a fast-paced rotating shift environment.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, motors, drives, and relays; bend and install conduit, perform preventive maintenance, follow OSHA and LOTO procedures, and assist with crane electrical servicing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
• Strong PLC, motor, drive, and relay troubleshooting skills.

From repairing industrial control systems to maintaining equipment uptime, this position is critical to plant efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, rotating shift environment.Shift: Rotating 8-Hour ShiftsWhat You’ll DoPerforms electrical maintenance across all plant areas, including control systems, power systems, and speed control drivesTroubleshoots programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors, drives, and relaysBends and installs conduit and wiring for equipment installations and upgradesExecutes preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and componentsAdheres to OSHA and company safety policies and procedures, including LOTO and Arc FlashPrepares documentation and reports in accordance with company standardsSupports crane repair and electrical servicing of plant operations equipmentPerforms other duties as assigned by managementMaintains regular, full-time onsite attendance in alignment with scheduling expectationsWho You ArePrior manufacturing or industrial electrical experience preferredProficient in troubleshooting PLCs, motors, drives, and relaysCapable of reading electrical schematics and following technical diagramsStrong communication skills with the ability to work independently or collaborativelyDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingDisplays a positive attitude and maintains effective working relationshipsMechanical aptitude and computer literacy requiredAvailable to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as neededAble to pass hair follicle drug screening, physical, and background checkLegally authorized to work in the U.S.Physical AbilitiesMust be able to lift, climb, bend, and work at heights or in confined spaces typical of an industrial maintenance environment.What You’ll GetZekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including company-paid coverage and advancement pathways.
