Job summary

DNOW, a global distributor serving the energy and industrial markets, seeks an experienced Project Manager/Sales professional to manage assigned projects, coordinate with internal teams, and develop supplier partnerships.

You will lead conference calls, ensure on-time deliveries, and analyze efficiencies, with a focus on customer service and profitable project execution. Strong communication and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in project management and sales.
• Strong pipe, valves, and fittings sourcing background.
• Oil & Gas knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all aspects of assigned Projects.
• Provide superior customer service internally and externally.
• Strategically source material.
• Help coordinate with internal support team order entry and item coding.
• Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers.
• Lead project-related conference calls with third parties in project management.
• Provide reporting to project management team.
• Be in compliance with all established SOPs.

• Facilitate expeditious movement of material and paperwork.
• Support other Project Managers and Sales Assistants as workload permits.
• Exceed customer expectations with 100% on-time deliveries and order accuracy.
• Maximize operating profits through superior customer service.

• Provide reporting to project management team
• Be in compliance with all established SOPs
• Analyze and recommend areas where efficiencies and advantages can be gained by DNOW and/or our client
• Facilitate expeditious movement of material and paperwork
• Support other Project Managers and Sales Assistants as workload permits
• Exceed customer expectations in service requirements while maintaining 100% on-time deliveries and 100% order accuracy.
• Maximize operating profits while gaining market share through superior customer service.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong Pipe, valves, and fittings sourcing background
• 5+ years’ experience in project management and sales
• Oil & Gas knowledge preferred
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel and Word)
• Process, administrative, operations and SAP experience is a plus
• Positive and assertive attitude
• Detail-oriented, organized and analytical
• Understanding of and total commitment to DNOW processes
• Outgoing, service-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to receive direction
• Oral and written communication skills, both internal and external
• Relationship-building abilities with both customers and co-workers
• Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in fast-paced work environment
• Strong work ethic and integrity
