Goodall Brazier Ltd. is partnering with a leading electrical contractor in California to recruit an Electrical Project Manager.

The role requires ownership of complex electrical construction projects, strong budget control, and proactive leadership of project teams from preconstruction through delivery. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in commercial electrical PM, deep knowledge of construction methods, estimating, change orders and contracts, and a proven track record of profitable project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial electrical construction.
• Experience managing electrical projects, budgets, schedules, and teams.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, estimating, change orders, and contracts.
• Proven ability to deliver profitable projects with strong client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through successful completion.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, procurement, and overall financial performance.
• Lead and develop project teams, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field personnel.
• Oversee subcontractor coordination, contractual obligations, change orders, and client relationships.
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest standards.
• Identify commercial opportunities, mitigate project risks, and contribute to continued business growth.
• Build lasting relationships with general contractors, developers, and key project stakeholders.

With a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-value electrical projects and a substantial pipeline of secured work, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager who can take ownership of projects, lead successful teams, and play an important role in the company's continued growth.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial electrical construction.
• Proven experience managing electrical projects, budgets, schedules, and project teams.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, estimating, change orders, and contract administration.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects profitably while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial management skills.
• Experience working for an established electrical subcontractor is highly desirable.
• A background in electrical engineering, construction management, or the electrical trades is advantageous.
