Job summary

Reis Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-end residential projects across the Los Angeles counties. The role centralizes leadership, collaboration with the Project Executive and Site Superintendent, and delivering architecturally significant residences.

You will manage the project lifecycle from pre-construction through completion, maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with design partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in high-end residential construction.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of architectural drawings, materials, and construction methods.
  • Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and other construction management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation abilities with strong client-facing professionalism.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead high-end residential projects across LA counties. This role is integral to delivering some of the most exceptional and architecturally significant one-of-a-kind residences in our LA regional areas.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, proven leadership, and an understanding of the unique demands of luxury residential construction. You’ll collaborate closely with our Project Executive and Site Superintendent to manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from pre-construction through completion, while maintaining strong relationships with our clients, owners’ representatives, design partners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project & Financial OversightLead project planning and execution through all phases, serving as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, designers, and building officials
  • Develop and manage project budgets, cost reports, forecasts, and subcontractor payments to ensure profitability and quality standards are met
  • Create and maintain master project schedules, coordinating with field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Proactively identify risks and implement strategies to minimize delays and cost impacts
  • Oversee procurement, bids, and subcontractor relationships to ensure scope completeness and alignment with project requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Relations
  • Serve as the main liaison for all project stakeholders, fostering transparent communication and client satisfaction
  • Lead regular project meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors; manage documentation, meeting minutes, and follow-ups
  • Host monthly budget and schedule reviews focused on performance, risk, and issue resolution
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop project teams, including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers and Site Superintendents
  • Manage high-performing subcontractor and vendor relationships, ensuring accountability for quality and contractual compliance
  • Coordinate closely with field operations to align on schedule, budget, and craftsmanship goals.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain exceptional construction standards and craftsmanship throughout all project phases
  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with all OSHA and NYC Department of Buildings regulations
  • Oversee permitting, insurance, and code compliance, including OSHA construction and energy codes with team
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in high-end residential construction, preferably managing large-scale or luxury projects at senior level capacity
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of architectural drawings, materials, and construction methods
  • Proven leadership, organizational, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation abilities, with strong client-facing professionalism
  • Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and other construction management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
