Propulsion Controls Engineering LLC in San Diego, CA is seeking a Ship Repair Project Manager with a minimum of five years in military or ship repair/marine services to lead a team to project completion on time and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while coordinating with clients and stakeholders. Base access clearance may be required.

Propulsion Controls Engineering has an opening for a Ship Repair Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of military or ship repair/marine industry experience; supporting our San Diego, CA location PCE is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor.

Project Manager Position Summary:

Oversee and lead a team in completing projects by a set deadline, schedule and budget. Monitor project progress, resolve challenges and communicate obstacles.

Position Requirments:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 5 plus years’ experience of military/marine or ship repair industry preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work at a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task with multiple projects.
• Ability and tolerance to meet due dates and deadlines and/or time constraints.
• Ability to delegate and lead others.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control and costs.
• Ability to obtain / maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance.
