Who You Are
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful execution of construction work in accordance with contractual obligations, internal policies and The Limbach Way.
Examples of Your Work
- Utilize a project management information control system to govern the lifecycle of the project.
- Manage all aspects of the customer relationship, with the objective of securing future repeat business.
- Protect the interests and legal rights of the Company during project execution through thorough documentation and timely communication with customers, subcontractors, vendors and internal parties.
- Break down cost estimates into manageable, measurable segments for accurate cost projections.
- Issue purchase orders to equipment providers and material suppliers, in accordance with the Company's purchasing guidelines and limits of authority.
- Develop a detailed and complete scope of work for contracts issued to subcontractors.
- Identify cost impacts arising from changes to the project scope and construction schedule.
- Pursue compensation for resulting impacts in full compliance with the project's contract terms and required project standards to maximize profitability.
- Facilitate the design of labor plans and manpower loading schedules, produce target reports for productivity, maintain progress drawings and accurately track and report installation productivities.
- Forecast and verify the costs, revenue and gross profit of projects at least monthly to accurately portray the expected financial outcome to key stakeholders.
- Monitor project cash flow to achieve a consistently positive bottom line via an appropriate schedule of values, maximized monthly billing and timely payment collections.
- Oversee engineering/commissioning resources and subcontractor work to capitalize on productivity.
- Effectively manage the job completion, final acceptance and warranty period to ensure customer satisfaction.
What You Need
- Bachelor's Degree in a construction‑related field or equivalent.
- 3+ years of industry‑specific experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of federal, state and local building codes and construction laws.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate and negotiate effectively.
- Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Documented completion of OSHA's 30‑hour Construction Training Course.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous people‑management experience is a plus.
- 5+ years of industry‑specific experience.

Work Environment
- Primarily an office environment, routinely utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and printers.
- Tasks may require occasional travel to local job sites, exposing the incumbent to conditions typical of construction sites.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motion and possess both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
- Considered a light work position, with possible exertion of up to twenty (20) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to ten (10) pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
