Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ‘Project Manager’ to lead onsite operations for an upcoming commercial construction project scheduled to begin this fall. This is a long-term opportunity for a highly organized, hands-on leader who knows how to keep crews moving, subcontractors aligned, and quality standards high. • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for project teams, inspectors, and stakeholders.
Schedule & Progress Management:
  • Develop and maintain short-term lookahead schedules in alignment with the overall project timeline.
  • Monitor progress, proactively identify delays or issues, and implement recovery strategies.
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure adherence to all code, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure all work meets design intent, quality standards, and technical specifications.
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and field conditions to resolve constructability issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization across the jobsite in line with safety and performance standards.
Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination
  • Review scopes of work and hold subcontractors accountable to performance expectations and project deliverables.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings to align teams and resolve conflicts early.
  • Verify completion of work for progress billings and punch list sign-offs.
Communication & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate daily field reports, logs, and jobsite documentation.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to communicate progress, budget implications, and manpower needs.
  • Support project close-out by leading punch list efforts, coordinating inspections, and collecting as-built information.
Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of project management, or construction management experience in commercial building projects.
  • Position requires regular travel within the Western New York region.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, scopes of work, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ability to manage project schedules and field operations with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with logistics and inspections on multi-trade commercial sites.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using or willingness to learn platforms like Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Project.
  • Must have valid work authorization in the U.S.
