Job summary

H&H is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate design projects for Massachusetts clients, guiding a growing team of engineers and designers. You will oversee project delivery, supervise office operations, and mentor junior staff while ensuring client satisfaction and successful collaboration with marketing for proposals.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, Massachusetts PE, and 10+ years of experience in design and plan production, with familiarity with MassDOT guidelines.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Massachusetts PE license is required or ability to obtain it.
• 10+ years of conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan production experience.
• Familiarity with MassDOT details and production as part of Project Delivery and Design Guide.

Responsibilities

• Assume leadership role and responsibility for managing design projects and coordination among various project design disciplines.
• Assume leadership role and responsibility for all facets of office operation and facilities; review staffing levels and monitor staff tools and resources.
• Maintain utilization of office personnel; balance project demands with opportunities for professional development.
• Supervise and mentor junior-level design staff.
• Perform project management duties.
• Assist the Regional Manager in growing the practice, including growing the office backlog and expanding client base.
• With marketing support, lead the preparation of proposals and presentations.
• Maintain outstanding client satisfaction and relationships.
• Participate actively in local professional affiliations and encourage team members to participate.
